Tai chi is an ancient Chinese exercise that combines relaxed smooth movement with a calm and alert mind; it is a mind-body practice using easy and effortless slow motion dance.

It is a non-impact exercise building patience, flexibility, balance, strength and coordination.

Tai Chi improves the health and the physical condition besides enhancing sleep patterns and decreasing stress and tension.

Tai Chi allows us to stay healthy with minimal effort.

Tai chi means sole ultimate it applies the principle of staying centered both mentally and physically.

It also trains proper body positions while moving about, it removes the stress of the backside and the hips too, it is a reasonable aerobic exercise that can diminish stress level and improve the body's resistant response.

Regular practice of Tai Chi lower blood pressure and enhances emotional well being, it moreover boosts flow of vital energy and leads to complete relaxation.

Tai chi views the mind and body not as disconnected but as different aspects of life energy. According to ancient Chinese medicine our thoughts and emotions have a direct impact on our physical heath so it is essential to improve our emotional and mental health.

The external factors such as the climate, the seasons and the weather also affect our wellbeing. So Illness is an indication of imbalance inside the body and the environment.

Tai Chi is a form of Meditation that helps us understand our real ego and boost our self control. It helps us deal with the people around us more effectively. Tai Chi depends on natural movements derived from our innate strength, the exercise depends on breathing and repetitive movements to defend and gain more control about ourselves.

Tai chi originated in china 700 years ago in China as a martial art by legendary founder 'Chang san fang' inspired by a battle between a snake and a crane ,so he created a self defense system based on the power flow and flexibility not on physical force.

For centuries Tai chi was practiced in secret in Chan villages north china then in the mid 18th century 'yang lu chan' became the first outsider to learn Tai chi and it became popular. In 1930 'cheng man ching' simplified it as a health exercise form and it spread in china.

It became popular in the United States and Europe in late sixties when 'cheng man ching' came to New York and opened a large Tai chi school to non Chinese students.

Tai chi practice helps to focus the mind, to stay healthy, to boost balance and to avoid inflexible thinking. Tai chi can be practiced by everybody at any age, it is an exercise for life long well being easily done anywhere at anytime. Harmony and balance bring good health and well being.
